Rome, Italy

Italy stares out at the scene before him. The once beautiful city of Rome looked as if it is covered in ash and melted. Everything is as back as the dark night sky.
"B-But..." Italy mutters to no one in particular. "I-I said I surrender..." He could do nothing, not even run to his precious Germany, for he is in the same boat.

Berlin, Germany

Germany stands, mouth agape as everything went black. Literally. He stares around at the people who have been mindlessly turned into faceless aliens. “Am… Am I the only one left?” He mutters into the silence. He knows the other countries will still be the same… Won’t they?

London, England

England stares up at the once great monument, Great Ben. “How… how did this happen?” He wonders aloud. “Would it have been different if I had fought with Fr…” He stops himself, refusing to utter the name of the bloody frog. What will he do?
England is so absorbed in being depressed, he doesn’t even think about the French man in question. But if he did, he’d immediately know how he was feeling.

Paris, France

France is probably the one to take the past event worst. He has spent most of his life striving for beauty. Now, he stands in front of the once beautiful L’arc de Triomphe, nearly in tears. Even the precious rose gardens he had planted are black as soot. He doesn’t speak a single word, or even think one for that matter…

Shanhai Pass, China

China stares up at the Great Wall of China, in complete shock. The wall that had taken 14 years to build is now black smudge. He wants to cry. He will get back at those aliens. For now, he wonders how Russia is handling it.

Moscow, Russia

Russia looks at St. Basil’s Cathedral, the childish smile long gone. He’s completely shocked; he could have stopped the aliens. But now, the building that was once colorful looks like a giant pile of soot. The man, who is always childish and scary, is on the verge of tears.

Washington DC, USA

America looks at the once white building. The building that has lived through a lot. Now, just a black pile of soot-looking stuff. His mouth hangs agape, not being able to form the words. He just stares at it. “… Why?” He manages to say.

Maple, Canada (Ontario)

Canada stares up at the once amusement park. It is now dripping with black looking soot. For once, he wishes he is invisible. Then maybe this would not have happened. He wonders if the other nations are this way as well.

Somewhere, Japan

Japan looked at his beloved Cherry Blossoms. Now, black with and moldy-looking. All the years he took to plant and take care of them, now ruined. The usual emotionless Japan showed an emotion for once. Sadness.
